Comments: The finest of the three Egypt & Nubia Title Vignettes, this shows the center of the exterior of the Temple of Aboo Simbel, depicting the god Ra-Harakhti with a sparrow hawk's head. In this sketch, the main entrance to the temple is still almost entirely blocked by sand.
