Comments: One of the first sketches made by Roberts upon his arrival in Cairo became this full folio lithograph of the great Mosque of Sultan Hassan, built between 1356 and 1363, and considered one of the finest works of Islamic architecture. Its minaret is still the tallest in Cairo.
